TQM and Success |
I recently have had some great "successes" -- Students being accepted at USC, another getting a job as Webmaster-Network Administrator and former students getting lots of "hits" on their websites! The "smack" about Total Quality Management, "High Performance Workplace", Continuous Quality Improvement and Innovation, and "Quality creating Marketshare" is working by building computer skills, creating world-class quality, presentation output, building self-confidence, then raising the "bar of expectations" (vision) – is being communicated. |

Background. |
I am a programmer, a writer, and a webmaster -- I have a curriculum made up of 80+ run-anywhere-anytime quizzes available on a floppy (701 Start Disk), up to Critical-Thinking-"Discovery" mind-expanding exercises, with web-based quizzes being supplemented by rigorous Multiple-Choice exams whose results are transmitted to a database. Also, included, and based on a joint project with Dr. Moreno, are Visual-Virtual- Interactive (VVI) assignments which emphasize experiental learning using visual, spatial thinking as well as deductive logical reasoning. Truly firing neurons from both sides of the brain! |

Electronic Learning Community |
This approach includes the "Electronic Learning Community" approach – we "strengthen each other thru communication" and research web-based information to strengthen our skills! I also like to have some personal contact with my students, at least, to meet them and be sure that they have the book, the CD, and "Start Disk" ($6.00 package available in LATTC bookstore), and can access my irtual Classroom (http://auciello.tripod.com) and find, and download the assignments! |

Attedance / Check-in |
If you like, find "Atten / Partic Check-in" on 1st page, and check in at least once per week. Give yourself 25 points for each check, max 4 times per week. This is optional, but a chance to be sure you know how to check in and report work. If you do any projects, report them like -- 100-701email (which gives you 100 points for filling out email form and sending it to me) ... all assignments should have short names and are worth 100 pts, unless marked as 50. Feel free to start. But starting is optional. |
