Note:  The curriculum for CIS 757 covers (1) Web Design and (2)  Internet Programming.  There are over 25 lessons on this website on WEB DESIGN and INTERNET PROGRAMMING. You are free to use areas "outside the envelope" of this course for enrichment and submit them for "extra credit."   It will award points for such work, based on the amount of work that you do, and your knowledge level in the (2) required areas. 

You may study with other students  -- it's encouraged and consistent with our "Virtual Learning Community."  Empowering ourselves and others is our goal!  The deliverable -- the end product -- of this course is an operating website the following minimal features, images, moving images, sound, music, text, rich text, visual communication techniques, links to other pages, email contact, and an index of projects completed.  You may also create an optional Portfolio in a Viewbinder (recommended) as a backup of your webpages.  I will show you a sample Portfolio. 

My philosophy is to 'empower' you, to "teach you to how to learn", crossing boundaries, reaching the heights where your imagination and skills take you!   Combining creativity and hands-on skills will lead you to significant levels of  discovery and achievement!   Becoming "Technology Empowered", discovering for yourself, "Crossing the Digital Divide" and leaving you standing there self-confident, self-reliant, and successful with the tools to create practical, useful, business webpages is the goal of this course!   I would appreciate your comments on this.  Comments welcome at  joseph@auciello.net
